Committee role descriptions:

Active Members

Active members comprise the main governing body of the Rooftop Rodeo.  Each Active Member is expected to attend at least seven meetings and  work on two standing or special sub-committees per year.  An Active Member will have one vote on matters which come before the Rooftop Rodeo Committee.  Each member shall be eligible to wear the official Rooftop Rodeo insignia and committee clothing.  In addition, each member is entitled to free tickets to any rodeo event for themselves, spouse and children.  To become an Active Member, you must complete one year as an Intern Member.

Associate Members

Associate Members are those individuals who wish to assist the committee with Rooftop Rodeo and related activities, but do not want to assume the obligations and duties of Active Members.  They are not required, but are encouraged to attend all meetings, participate on sub-committees, and provide assistance during the rodeo and other related activities.  Associate Members do not have voting privileges.

Intern Member

An Intern Member is a non-voting member who would like to become an Active Member.  They must perform all functions of an Active Member for one year and one Rooftop Rodeo.  After meeting all Intern Membership Requirements, the Intern is then eligible to become an Active Member and wear official Rooftop Rodeo clothing and insignia.

Honorary
