Rodeo | FAQs Q: Are
the grandstands covered?
A: Yes. Rain or shine, the rodeo will go on, all seats are under the
grandstand cover
Q: Can I use a camcorder or
camera?
A: Yes. The rooftop rodeo offers the chance to see the top
professionals do what they do best, with a background unique to the Rocky
Mountains. Please take as many pictures as you want.
Q: Are there food and drinks
available at the event?
A: Yes. Food, beverages, and alcoholic beverages are all available
at the fairgrounds.
Q: Will clapping and cheering
scare the animals?
A: No. The animals at this event are professional athletes in the
rodeo circuit and are used to noise from the crowds... in fact, they
thrive on it. Cheer as loud as you can for the men, women, and
animals at the rodeo.
Q: Do you offer handicapped
seating?
A: Yes. We have great seats for our handicapped guests. When
you call to order tickets, please let us know if handicapped seating is
required, and we'll be glad to accommodate you.
Q: Are the animals well cared
for?
A: Yes. In partnership with our stock contractor, Powder River Rodeo
company, we ensure that all animals at the rodeo are well cared for at all
times (during the rodeo and in transport). The animal athletes at
this rodeo are the livelihood for our contestants and represent time,
training, dedication and financial support for their well being.
Q: Are the contestants
professional cowboys and cowgirls?
A: Yes. The Rooftop Rodeo is a Professional Cowboys Rodeo
Association (PRCA) sanctioned event, so all the contestants are
professionals.
