Holly Spreitzer – 2016 Rooftop Rodeo Queen
Welcome to Estes Park and the Rooftop Rodeo, the Rodeo with Altitude!It is my honor to serve as the 2016 Rooftop Rodeo Queen and be part of the friendly hospitality that awaits you at our rodeo.Not only does our rodeo have a warmhearted welcome in the way of the western tradition, it also showcases the extraordinary talent of our contestants and the impressive stock of the Cervi Championship Rodeo Company, all surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of Estes Park, Colorado.
I am the 19 year old daughter of John and Linda Spreitzer of Loveland.I am a graduate of Mountain View High School with a diploma in General Education as well as an honors diploma from the Loveland Integrated School of the Arts.During high school, I participated in the Honor Society, the VEX Competitive Robotics Team, Show Choir, Musical Theater, and the band.I was also proud to be an officer in my FFA chapter.I held the title of Miss Northern Colorado High School, and placed in the top five at the Miss Colorado High School pageant.
I currently attend Aims Community College where I am pursuing a degree in Emergency Medicine.At Aims, I am part of the National Honor Society of Phi Theta Kappa.I am also a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician, working towards my goal of becoming a fire medic.I received the Rotary Youth Leadership Award as well as being honored with the Rotary Kindness Award.The Four Way Test from Rotary is a driving factor in my life.
I enjoy many activities such as ice skating, performing in musical theater, and dancing.My passion for community service has led me to be very involved in Autism Awareness, IceKidpades, school literacy programs, the Salvation Army, serving on the Larimer County Sheriff’s Posse, and assisting with Santa Cops of Larimer County.
I have trained in multiple riding disciplines and enjoy passing on my passion of riding to others. My two amazing horses, Chocolate and Baron, are my constant companions and help me pass on my passion of riding.
I would like to thank my family for supporting me through the years.In addition to my wonderful parents I have three terrific big brothers: John, Branden and Joel who are my role models.I also want to than my “other parents” Ava and Bruce Wild. As my lifetime neighbors the blessed me with my first horse Joab.The deal was that the owned the front and back of the horse and I got to ride the middle.
I also want to thank the Rooftop Rodeo Committee for giving me the opportunity to serve as the 2016 Rooftop Rodeo Queen and supporting the royalty program.I look forward to meeting many people during my reign and passing on my love of rodeo and the western way of life.
