The theme of the 2011 parade:
85 years of Raising the Rooftop!
In celebration of our 85th year, the parade committee is asking 2011
participants to please make a special effort to dress or decorate floats
in a manor that represents our living history, the Rooftop Rodeo!
Kicking off rodeo week festivities will be the traditional Rooftop Rodeo Parade on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m., in
downtown Estes Park. Bands, horseback riders, draft hitches, floats, unique automobiles, rodeo royalty, clubs, organizations,
traveling bands, trick riders, clowns and more have added a distinctively fun time and western flavor to Estes Park as the
colorful entourage makes its way along Elkhorn Avenue to the Stanley Park Fairgrounds. Previous parades have featured as many as
86 unique entries with some from as far away as California. Come enjoy the day in Estes Park and help us kick off rodeo week by
enjoying the Rooftop Rodeo Parade!
Parade applications will be accepted until June 30, 2011. For more information please contact Ginny
at 970.586.1981 or email
