2008 Queen - Hello, and welcome to the 82nd Annual Rooftop Rodeo here
in the beautiful town of Estes Park! My name is Tori Vendegna and I am the
2008 Rooftop Rodeo Queen. It is an honor for me to say that I represent
the wonderful town of Estes Park and the Rip Roaring Rooftop Rodeo.I am the daughter of Steve and Pam Vendegna and the youngest sister to Chelsea, J.C. and Cassie. I am currently a senior at Estes Park High School. During the year I am a member of the Volleyball and Basketball teams and a Link Crew Leader. After graduating I plan to attend college, where I will start with a degree in Business. In my spare time I enjoy riding my American Quarter Horse, Jupiter. (Jupi for short) I have been riding horses for eight years and have had the privilege of participating in the Rooftop Rodeo for seven. Some hobbies of mine are drawing, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and playing all different kinds of sports! I am honored to represent the Rooftop Rodeo and am so excited for the experience that I am about to embark upon. This will be my final year representing the Rooftop Rodeo Royalty and I plan to go out with a bang! So let’s get rowdy for the 82nd Annual Rooftop Rodeo! Marley Mardock - 2008 Attendant - Welcome to one of the best small rodeos in the PRCA, the Rooftop Rodeo! Sitting in the middle of spectacular mountains, the Estes Park rodeo is enjoyable for all. My name is Marley Mardock, the 2008 Rooftop Rodeo attendant. I have been a princess for three years with this year being my first in the queens program. I am very excited to support, promote and learn more about the great sport of rodeo and to work with this years queen Tori Vendegna. I am fourteen and the daughter of Rob Mardock, Jane Lopez and my step father Mike Amicarella. I enjoy doing anything outside including hiking, biking, rafting and skiing. I also have fun playing basketball and running cross country at Estes Park High School. I have loved horses as early as I can remember and now enjoy riding our four quarter horses and Norwegian Fjord pony around our home. We own cattle on the western slope in Hotchkiss Colorado and I have enjoyed learning about the ranching and cattle industry through the seven years I have traveled there. I hope to always continue to have animals as a part of my life and learn more about them and from them. I am privileged to be a part of our rodeo and hope to see you all there to enjoy the Rooftop Rodeo!
Rooftop Royalty Program A Royalty Competition is also held each year to choose one Attendant (which will become Lady-in-Waiting, then Queen), Princesses, Princess Attendants & Wranglers. The 2008 Royalty Competition will be held on May 17 at the Stanley Park Fairgrounds. Horsemanship competition starts at 8:00 am. Public speaking and other phases of the competition start at 1:00 pm.
