Supporting Our Community
Community is very important to the Rooftop Rodeo and giving back to various non-profits has been a big part of the history of the event. In 2023 it was more than evident by the success of the various programs.
Crowns for the Care/Mrs Rooftop Rodeo: More than $100,000 for the Estes Park Health Foundation through the Crowns for the Care fundraising initiative which is culminated each year by crowning Mrs. Rooftop Rodeo - the community leader who raised the most money for the cause.
Pass the Boot: More than $5000 was raised through the Pass The Boot program benefitting these organizations:
Estes Park Health Foundation
Colorado Special Olympics
EVICS Family Resource Center
Estes Valley Crisis Advocates
American Legion Post 119
Flinch Forward
Rooftop Saloon Tips: The Rooftop Rodeo Saloon is run by the non-profit Estes Park Western Heritage Foundation. The profit from the saloon goes into fulfilling Western Heritage's Mission to assist local youth with scholarships. The tips in the saloon are donated to the the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, a 501-c-3, that assists injured rodeo athletes with their living expenses after rodeo related injuries. Our generous patrons donated $7500 in tips which will be donated to JCCF.
