2026 Mutton Bustin

ALL ENTRIES ONLINE ON THIS PAGE STARTING AT 10 AM MST.  10 entries will be taken for each night, ticket for rodeo required for contestants and parents.  Please read the full information below - a link will be added to this page and the home page on April 1.  All contestants who have successfully entered online are required to check in at the mutton bustin table no later than 5:30pm on event night to keep your spot, no exceptions. For safety reasons the weight and dress code requirements below will be strictly enforced. 

DETAILS:  
Sign Up:     Enter online only on this page, Entries will be online on April 1, 2026 at 10 a.m.
Entry Fee:  $30 to be paid during the online entry process, no refunds
Rodeo:       Family members, including the contestant, need a ticket to the rodeo itself in order to participate and watch. 
Time:          The rodeo starts at 7pm each night.  Mutton Bustin takes place in the middle of the rodeo.

ROOFTOP RODEO RULES, READ COMPLETELY BEFORE ENTERING ONLINE:

• Age: 5 – 8
• Weight: 55 lbs. and under day of the event.
• Dress Code:  Long sleeved shirt, long pants, cowboy boots, tennis shoes or other closed toed shoes.  
• Children will be weighed during check in registration in the clothes they will ride with.
• Children are allowed to hold to the sheep with their hands only. NO other devices may be used, i.e. ropes or spurs.
• Contestants must wear helmet, vest and number provided. 
• A contestant may only enter for one time during one performance.  
• Preregistered contestants should check-in at the Fairgrounds no later than 5:30 p.m. Arrival after that will result in your child being removed from the event and spot given to an alternate. 
• $30 entry fee is to be paid at the time of online entry.  No refunds.
• Check-in table is just beyond the ticket offices at the main gate.
• Must provide a working cell number night of the event.
• The number of contestants is limited to 10 each night.
• Missed Pre-Registrations? Alternates will be accepted at the mutton bustin table starting at 5:30 p.m.  If any preregistered contestants does not check in by 5:30 p.m., does not meet weight or dress requirements or declines to participate an alternate will be allowed to participate if they meet all qualifications. 
• Contestants must meet all the guidelines above and names or an alternate will be drawn after 6 PM the night of the event.
