2024 Rooftop Rodeo Queen, Névé Cooper
Hello, my name is Névé Cooper and I am honored to be your 2024 Rooftop Rodeo Queen. I'm 17 years old and from Allenspark, Colorado. I am currently a Senior at Estes Park High School where I enjoy being a part of the band and choir. I have played the trumpet since I was in 5th grade and now have the honor of being section leader for the trumpet section. Singing in the choir has also been something I have enjoyed since middle school. It has helped me gain confidence and shape me into the person that I am today. I have always had a passion for horses. I got my horse Starlight 7 years ago after begging my parents to get one. Starlight has helped shape me both as a person and a rider. She was there for my first canter, my first fall, and my first rodeo. We make a great team and I couldn’t ask for a better horse to share this title. As attendant, I hope to spread positivity to those I meet and show that you can do anything you set your mind to. I hope I can inspire people to never let a disability stop or define you. Horses have helped me so much with accepting and overcoming my disablity. When I ride Starlight and feel the wind in my hair all I can think about is how free I feel. Who cares if you’re disabled or not, you are who you are, and you were put on this planet for a reason. I am so excited and grateful to represent the western way of life and the Town of Estes Park as the 2023 Rooftop Rodeo Attendant. Gratefully your, Névé Cooper |
