2025 ROOFTOP ROYALTY
2025 ROOFTOP RODEO QUEEN SHARIDAN HUGGINS
Sharidan Huggins is the 24 year old daughter of Tray and Dulce Huggins. She and her two older brothers, Coddy and Dakota, grew up in Loveland, Colorado. Living in Loveland, Sharidan has been deeply influenced by her upbringing in the scenic Rocky Mountains. Growing up in such a beautiful setting she has always been surrounded by a variety of animals which has deeply enriched her life. Sharidan's active involvement in 4-H for over a decade has been a formative experience for her. Through this program, she has engaged in diverse projects including working with horses and breeding beef. This has fueled her passion for rodeo and the Western way of life. She is a firm believer in the values promoted by 4-H, especially the emphasizing on respect, responsibility, love, and hard work, which she sees as crucial for shaping the character of the next generation. When Sharidan was just eight years old, she had the opportunity to meet the 2008 Larimer County Fair and Rodeo Queen. This chance encounter ignited a deep passion for the rodeo within her. Growing up, her family had a tradition of attending the Larimer County Rodeo, which only served to fuel her enthusiasm for the sport. Through these experiences, Sharidan came to understand and appreciate the sense of belonging and unity within the rodeo community. It became clear to her that, in the world of rodeo, everyone is welcomed with open arms regardless of their background or personal history. Throughout the past several years, she has been fortunate to have been inspired by numerous role models who have left a lasting impact on her. As she looks ahead to the future, she eagerly anticipates the opportunity to serve as a positive role model for the younger generation, particularly in the context of Rodeo and Western Heritage. She is genuinely excited about the prospect of representing the Rooftop Rodeo as an ambassador, sharing her extensive knowledge of rodeo, western heritage, Estes Park, and the Rooftop Rodeo with individuals of all ages. The upcoming year holds the promise of an incredible journey, one that will undoubtedly lead to the formation of enduring friendships along the way. She first rode a horse when she was just 2 years old and hasn’t stopped since. Lily rode english dressage from age 8 to 10 which is when she joined the Soaring Eagles 4-h club where she competed at the Larimer County Fair for 4 years. Lily’s passion for horses continued on when she became a junior princess for the Rooftop Rodeo in 2018 since then she has been a part of our rodeo royalty program. Apart from horses she enjoys riding her dirt bike with her dad and going camping and boating with her family and friends. She currently works at the Lake Estes Marina and during the school year she manages the football and wrestling teams. Lily says her biggest inspiration is her Grandma Renee Martig who taught her everything she knows about horses. A fun fact about Lily is that she got a pony named Duke as a Christmas present when she was 7 years old. Lily plans to graduate highschool and earn her license in real estate and work towards investing in her own properties. She is very excited to see where this year takes her and is grateful to the Rooftop Rodeo Program for everything it has and continues to teach her. Photo by Marie Griffin Photography |
